Salvation Army holds family reading picnic
Families gathered July 22 for The Washington Salvation Army’s socially distant Family Reading Picnic. Books, picnic food and making birdhouses was enjoyed by all. Another family reading picnic will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 29 at Mingo Creek park in the field between shelters six and seven. Families are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket to spread out in the field and enjoy the free fun.
