WHS raising money for mammography equipment
The Washington Hospital Auxiliary made a multi-year commitment of $450,000 last year to purchase a new 3-D mammography unit for the Meadows Landing building in Washington. The auxiliary recently made a payment of $130,000 toward its commitment, raising the money over the past year despite the challenging climate in health care.
