The holiday season is a time of year when people tend to spend a lot of time thinking about others, and for residents of The Waters of McMurray senior living community, a cause near and dear to their hearts is doing all they can for needy animals.
During their recent craft fair and “Pet Photos with Santa” events, they raised money and collected donations of pet food for South Hills Pet Rescue. On Wednesday, a group from The Waters of McMurray drove to the shelter in South Park to drop off the donations. In addition to a $600 check, they left behind several bags of pet food.
