The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will held Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bethel Park municipal building, located at 5100 West Library Ave. in Bethel Park. All members and the general public are invited. This month’s program will be on coins that talk. A 50/50 will be offered, and children’s prizes will be awarded. The Washington Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor a popcorn sale Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Washington Hospital’s upper lobby. Sweet and savory flavors will be available, including butter toffee caramel, cheddar cheese, ranch and more. Cash and credit cards will be accepted, with free parking for 70 minutes.
