State police investigating stabbing in Brownsville

No arrests have been made after a person was stabbed in Brownsville early Tuesday morning.

According to state police public information officer Kalee Barnhart, 911 received a call at 1 a.m. that a man was bleeding at the intersection of Clover and Pearl streets.

Police found the man had been stabbed multiple times in the arm and back. Barnhart said he was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and is in critical condition.

His identity was not released.

State police continue to investigate.
