PennWest California Theatre presents ‘She Kills Monsters’

PennWest California’s University Players will present the drama-comedy play, “She Kills Monsters,” this week.

The performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday at Steele Hall’s Blaney Theatre.

The show, written by American playwright Qui Ngyuen, follows Agnes Evans, portrayed by Jillian Bruni Cryster of DuBois, an English teacher who deals with the death of her sister Tilly, played by Ally Dobrinski of Brownsville, by playing a Dungeons and Dragons module written by Tilly prior to her death.

The show is directed by Dr. John Paul Staszel, a theater professor at PennWest California.
