CANONSBURG Clubs stolen: Nicolas Petockie, of 432 1/2 Giffin Ave., told Canonsburg police Wednesday golf clubs were stolen from his apartment.

CANTON Harassment charge: Jared M. Cole, 40, of Washington, was charged by state police with harassment for allegedly hitting Valerie Jean Cole of Washington during a confrontation Wednesday on Hewitt Avenue, Canton.

Jewelry stolen: Lori Shipley, of 1125 Wilmington Ave., Canton, told state police Tuesday that two gold wedding bands and a gold engagement ring were stolen from her home. Police have a suspect.

Window broken: Vandals broke a window in a work trailer Tuesday at C.J. Hughes Pipeline, 100 Euclid Ave., Canton.

NORTH FRANKLIN Change stolen: Donald W. Lank, of 2819 Wilson St., told North Franklin police Monday change was stolen from his home.

NORTH STRABANE Window broken: Kelly Suwak, of 1005 Woodlawn Drive, told North Strabane police Thursday a car window was broken with a golf club. The head of the club was found in the car.

PETERS Vehicle break-ins: Four vehicles parked at two residences were entered before 7:39 p.m. Thursday, township police said. A resident of the 200 block of Camelford Road reported an unlocked vehicle in the driveway was entered and a black bag valued at $300, a computer valued at $1,100, and an EZ Pass were removed. The bag and computer were found in the front yard of another house on the street, but the EZ Pass was missing, police said.

On nearby Orchard Street, three vehicles in a drive were entered with $100 stolen from one, $70 and a global positioning system from another, and $35 was stolen from a third vehicle, police said. All of the vehicles were unlocked.

SOUTH STRABANE Two arrested: A Brownsville couple was arrested Wednesday by South Strabane police for allegedly stealing items from a store at Tanger Outlets. Tara M. Konjolka-Brown, 43, and Joseph A. Brown, 42, both of 439 Greene St., are accused of stealing seven items valued at $188 from Casual Male. Both were arraigned before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on a retail theft charge and each placed in the Washington County jail on $2,000 bond.

UNION DUI charge: William Benzo, 33, of 157 Coal Bluff Road, Union, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol stemming from a one-vehicle crash Aug. 17 on Route 837 at Coal Bluff, Union. Southwest Regional police said his vehicle crashed into a ditch.
