STROUDSBURG (AP) — A coroner says more tests are needed to determine how and why a 3-month-old baby died at a northeastern Pennsylvania day care center.

Monroe County Coroner Bob Allen says Jasaan Feliciano, of East Stroudsburg, was pronounced dead on arrival at Pocono Medical Center after he was found unresponsive and rushed by ambulance from the day care shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.

The day care was not immediately identified by investigators, but is said to be state certified and located in Stroud Township.

The coroner says an autopsy Friday couldn’t pinpoint the cause of the baby’s death, so additional tests are needed. The coroner must also rule whether the death was accidental or homicide.
