The Trinity School Board voted to keep Scott Day as President for the 2013 calendar year during their meeting Thursday.

Also retained during the board’s reorganization meeting were Tamara Salvatori as Vice President and Dennis Makel as solicitor.

During the board’s regular meeting, a motion to contribute almost $15,000 towards playground equipment at Trinity East Elementary School was tabled until the board’s next meeting on January 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Under the proposal, the board would pay half of the cost of equipment and the parent teacher association would fundraise the rest of the money.

Treasurer Colleen Interval voiced opposition to the plan and said Trinity Easy has received more than their share of improvements.

“Every other school fundraised for their equipment,” Interval said. “Why is it always East?”

Interval said parents at Trinity West Elementary fundraised $40,000 for new playground equipment a number of years ago.
