Wanted for theft: James P. Roelle, 54, of Newark, Ohio, is facing charges of theft and receiving stolen property filed by state police over accusations he stole a pickup truck about 7 p.m. Nov. 30 owned by his former employer, Mid Ohio Pipeline, while it was parked at a Best Western Hotel off Wilson Road, court records show. District Judge Ethan Ward signed the arrest warrant in the case Saturday.

Man assaulted: Dana Koonse, 21, of South Park, is charged by borough police with simple assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment, court records show. She is accused of striking her boyfriend, Paul Lorenz, in the face and throwing a vase at his head about 3:25 a.m. Sunday at 940 Park Ave, the affidavit indicates. She is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.

Hit-and-run: Princeton Solomon, 22, of 1042 Addison St., Washington, is facing a charge of leaving the scene of an accident, borough police said. Solomon is accused of fleeing after crashing a borrowed vehicle about 3:30 a.m. Saturday into a vehicle parked on East Pike Street and owned by David Caldwell of Bridgeville, police said. Police learned Solomon’s identity after contacting the owner of the vehicle he drove, Brandy Cushenberry of Washington.

Woman jailed: Natalie Fine, 35, of 231 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct over accusations she punched officer Michael Leasure in the shoulder about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, court records show. The assault took place at 609 Fallowfield Ave., while police investigated a fight involving Fine and Robyn Smith, police stated in he affidavit. Police said they needed to use a Taser to subdue Fine after she refused orders to stop banging her head off a wall at the police station. She is in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.

Theft arrests: Zackery A. Maier, 28, of 207 S. Main St., Washington, and Christopher Lee Coen, 33, of 515 Perry Como Boulevard, Canonsburg, are charged by township police with receiving stolen property and conspiracy, court records show. Police questioned them about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 14 at a car wash at 50 South Country Club Road and received conflicting statements about who owned the dirt bike they had, the affidavit indicates. The next day, police learned the bike had been stolen from Andrew Manganas. Maier is in the Washington County jail on $20,000 bond set Monday by District Judge David Mark. Mark released Coen on $20,000 unsecured bond.

Assault report: A 20-year-old woman told state police Thursday she had been sexually assaulted by two males when she was 17 and they were 16 and 20 between August 26 and September 30, 2009, at a residence on Buckingham Drive. Police said the woman reported the males were known to her, and that she was given alcohol and drugs before the assaults were videotaped. Police said the case in under investigation.

Theft arrest: Bruce C. Thomas II, 35, of 368 Hancock St., Washington, is charged with receiving stolen property over accusations he possessed a rifle stolen Saturday from Kirk Melenzyer while it was stored in an elevated hunting blind at 472 Bentleyville Road, state police stated in court records. Thomas is in the Washington County jail on a parole detainer and $5,000 bond set Saturday by District Judge Ethan Ward.

Drug, theft charges: Jeferey Wilson Nadiak, 24, of 55 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident at Macy’s in Washington Crown Center Friday. Police said a loss-prevention officer at the store had a woman in custody when they arrived and pointed to a steep embankment behind the mall where Nadiak allegedly had fled when the officer tried to take him into custody, too. Police were able to take Nadiak into custody on Trich Drive. They said he had discarded his jacket by that point, but the jacket was recovered, and police said it had $188 in merchandise from the store and three syringes in a pocket. Charges were filed with District Judge Robert Redlinger Monday.

Man assaulted: William C. Weatherford, 47, of Omaha, Neb., is charged by township police with public drunkenness, simple assault and disorderly conduct over accusations he struck Robert M. Allman II about 8:50 p.m. Friday at the Super 8 Motel, 8 Curry Ave. Weatherford is in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Woman jailed: Kacey R. Kidd, 21, of Valley City, N.D., is charged by township police with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct over accusations she created a disturbance about 8:50 p.m. Friday at the Super 8 Motel, 8 Curry Ave., while police investigated an unrelated assault, court records show. Kidd is in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.

Retail theft: Teddy C. Szalla, 25, of Broughton, Allegheny County, will be charged by summons with retail theft in connection with the theft of a laptop computer from the Rite Aid store, 4185 Washington Road. Employees notified Peters Township police of the theft shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, and police stopped Szalla’s vehicle at Lakeside Plaza. Szalla consented to a search, which turned up nothing, but police took him back to the store, where a witness identified him. Police said Szalla then showed them the place in Waterdam Center where the laptop had been hidden. In addition to the retail theft charge, Szalla faces charges of driving while under suspension and driving without a license.

Theft from vehicle: A resident of the 400 block of Pinewood Drive reported to Peters Township police about 9 p.m. Saturday someone stole several items from his truck while it was parked in his driveway. Missing are a GPS unit, a folding hunting knife and a backpack containing notebooks, a calculator and $200 worth of textbooks.

Light string cut: A resident of the 200 block of Hemlock Drive was correcting the placement of deer decorations Sunday afternoon when he discovered the cord connecting decorative lights along his driveway had been cut. He told Peters Township police the damage was done earlier in December.

Drug charge: Amy J. Cole, 36, of 123 First St., Follansbee, W.Va., was charged with a violation of the drug act after police stopped her vehicle Jan. 6 at the corner of Donnan and Michigan avenues. Police said Cole attempted to conceal narcotics from them after she was stopped for being under suspension for operating a motor vehicle. She had two rocks of crack cocaine in a silver container, police said. Charges were filed Monday with District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Facing charges: Jeremiah Atkinson, 22, of 575 McClelland Road, Canonsburg, is facing charges after a probation officer reportedly caught him attempting to use another’s urine for a drug test. Police said Atkinson arrived at Washington County Courthouse for a scheduled appointment Nov. 13 with an adult probation officer. The probation officer said Atkinson attempted to shield himself from the officer while in the bathroom, and the officer noticed the urine had an odd odor and there was a foreign substance floating in it. Atkinson admitted he had a device attached to his leg, the officer said. His own urine tested positive for marijuana, police said. The charges were filed Monday at the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
