Several criminal defendants were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first time offenders Tuesday by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.

Entered into the program were:

Tyler Matthew Tharp, 22, of 463 West Roy Furman Highway, Wind Ridge, charged with theft; Tharp was accused of stealing six portable radios and a fire nozzle last November from the Richhill Township Fire Department, for which he served as an officer; he attempted to sell the radios on eBay. He paid $3,800 in restitution and is required to continue drug and alcohol counseling.

Paul Anthony Shubert, 35, of 917 Mapletown Road, Greensboro; charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary traffic violation; arrested Sept. 4, 2010, Shubert had a blood-alcohol content of 0.149 percent.

Travis R. Denman, 24, of 157 Main St., Graysville, charged with DUI; arrested June 15, Denman had a BAC of 0.166 percent.

Jeremy Roy Martin, 32, of 194 Maple Hill Drive, Waynesburg; charged with DUI and two summary traffic violations; arrested June 9, following a crash on Rolling Meadows Road, Franklin Township, Martin had a BAC of 0.221 percent.
