Man sentenced for receiving stolen property

WAYNESBURG – A Graysville man who pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property after being found in possession of guns that had been stolen in a burglary was sentenced Thursday by Judge Farley Toothman to 7 years of probation.
Joshua Andrew Bedilion, 31, of 122 Main St., was charged July 13, 2010, after he was found with guns that had been stolen June 26, 2010, from a home on Nebo Ridge Road in Richhill Township.
Bedilion pleaded guilty to the charge Sept. 26. In addition to probation, he was ordered to pay $750 in fines and perform 250 hours of community service.
In another case, Timothy Paul Mitchell, 26, of 275 Blacks Run Road, Mt. Morris, who pleaded guilty to two driving under the influence of alcohol charges, was sentenced by Toothman to 9 months to 5 years in jail.
Mitchell was charged with driving under the influence after he crashed an all-terrain vehicle on Blacks Run Road in Perry Township on June 10, 2011. His blood-alcohol content was 0.258 percent.
He was charged with a second DUI Dec. 5, 2011 after a one-vehicle crash on Edwards Avenue in Mt. Morris. His BAC then was 0.203 percent.
In addition to the jail sentence, Mitchell was ordered to pay fines totaling $3,535. He was granted work release.
