Burglary reported: About 70 DVDs, a .270-caliber Remington rifle and a .243-caliber Savage rifle were reported stolen in a burglary at 268 Duff Street between Sept. 1 and Tuesday, state police said. The property is owned by Tim McCormick of Bobtown.

Thefts from apartment: A 7 mm Remington Model 77 rifle and another rifle of unknown make were stolen from an apartment above Demaske’s Tavern between 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 12, state police said. The property is owned by Marko Demaske of Jefferson.

Tools stolen: A rear window was broken on a Chevrolet Silverado parked in the 100 block of North Porter Street between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:15 a.m. Wednesday and a hammer drill and jig saw were stolen from inside, Waynesburg police said. The property is owned by Bill Phillips of Waynesburg. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Waynesburg police at 724-627-8113.
