Three Washington County men have been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges they conspired to distribute five kilograms of cocaine.

Michael Sutton, 30, of 21 W. Spruce St., Washington; John Wright Jr., 332, of 310 Weirich Ave., Washington, and Zachary King, 22, of 217 Allison Ave., Houston, were named in the four-count indictment that was recently unsealed in the U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh.

Sutton was apprehended Tuesday morning when state police, masked and armed, converged on 59 W. Walnut St., Washington.

According to the indictment, the men possessed and distributed crack cocaine in the Washington area from January 2011 to June 2012.

Sutton is accused of possessing 28 grams of crack on Aug. 12 and Dec. 30, 2011, while King possessed 500 grams of the drug on Sept. 2, 2011. Wright is accused of conspiring with the other men to distribute more than five kilograms of crack.
