WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg man who threatened another man with a gun pleaded guilty Thursday before Judge Farley Toothman to charges of simple assault and terroristic threats.
Donald Edward Lemasters, 63, of 335 Waterdam Road, was arrested after he pointed a gun at Terry Phillips of Waynesburg March 10 on Waterdam Road and threatened to shoot Phillips. Lemasters told police Phillips failed to pay him for tires he sold Phillips last year.
Lemasters will be sentenced following the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
In another matter, Jane Ann Bowers, 43, of Reesman’s Mobile Home Park, Waynesburg, pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to one year of probation and fined $100.
Bowers stole an iPad Nano and Game Boy from Dave Smitley June 19. Smitley later texted her and she responded, telling him he could pick the items up at her home, which he did.
