Robbers still sought
Southwest Regional police continue to look for two men who robbed the Huntington Bank on Route 88 in Union Township Tuesday afternoon. The robbers fled in a white Ford Escape, but the vehicle’s oil pan was damaged during the getaway. The vehicle was then ditched at CT Auto, 3751 Finleyville-Elrama Road. The Southwest police dog was able to track them through a salvage yard. The two men were both black and wore white dust masks and sunglasses. One wore an orange hunting hat while the other carried a book bag. Both were armed with handguns. The robbers threw the bag containing money out of the vehicle after the dye pack exploded. The bank is offering a $10,000 reward. Anyone with information on the robbers is asked to call police at 724-929-8484 or the FBI.
