Federal, state and local government offices will be closed Tuesday in observance of the Christmas holiday. Banks and financial markets are also closed and there is no mail delivery. The Observer-Reporter will not be published on Christmas. The Observer-Reporter offices will close at noon Monday. The editorial department will reopen at 5 p.m. Christmas Day to prepare Wednesday’s edition. The other offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
