Harassment: Daniel C. Dillie, 25, of Washington, was cited for harassment Dec. 25 after he got into a confrontation with his 25-year-old girlfriend and her 53-year-old father at 2041 Arlington Ave., according to state police.

Charged: State police said Mark Travena, 41, and Sundance Travena, 19, both of Prosperity, were cited Sunday for harassment in connection with an incident with Bernice Kidwell, 58, and William Junkins, 73, both of Avella. Police said the men went to Kidwell and Junkins’ home about 5:30 p.m. Kidwell and Junkins were shoveling snow outside their home when the elder Travena allegedly knocked Kidwell to the ground, punched her in the head and smacked her with a plastic snow shovel. The younger Travena allegedly pushed Junkins to the ground. The men were later found at a local tavern.

PFA violation: William Lehner of 105 Farmview Place, Venetia, was placed in the Washington County jail Sunday afternoon, charged with violating a protection-from-abuse order, township police said. Police were called to the Lehner house for a domestic dispute. His wife told police he punched her in the arm, threw coffee at her and threatened to break her legs. Officers assisted her in obtaining a PFA, and when they returned to the house to serve Lehner, police said he refused to leave the residence and told officers they would need to arrest him. Lehner was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in jail on $5,000 bond. The incident was reported at 3:54 p.m. Sunday.

Crash: State police are looking for the driver of a 2003 red Ford Explorer pulling a white box truck that struck the vehicle driven by Steven J. Cheesman, 21, of Bentleyville, on Interstate 70 at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Police said the vehicles were traveling side by side in the westbound lanes of I-70, approaching a vehicle crash site, when the driver of the Explorer went from the right to left lane, striking the rear of Cheesman’s vehicle. Police said the driver of the Explorer fled while Cheesman pulled his disabled vehicle to the shoulder. Neither Cheesman nor a passenger in his vehicle, Angela M. Kotchman, 20, of McDonald, was injured in the collision.

Bad bill: TGI Friday’s staff reported to police that a counterfeit $20 bill was left by a man as a tip Saturday. Police said the bill was a poor facsimile of a currency note. A restaurant employee identified the passer of the bill as a 17-year-old Eighty Four boy. The matter is being referred to the Secret Service for further investigation, police said.

Woman jailed: Nasya Hargrove, 19, of 42 Kennedy St., Washington, is charged by city police with simple assault and making terroristic threats over accusations she threatened to stab her brother, James Hargrove, about 9:20 a.m. Saturday at her residence, court records show. She also is accused of striking him in the face with a coat hanger after he stepped in to stop her from assaulting their grandmother. The fight broke out after relatives accused Nasya Hargrove of stealing from her grandmother, police stated in the affidavit. She is in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Vehicle damaged: Terrance Lee, 47, of 203 N. College St., reported to city police that his vehicle was set on fire when two bottles were thrown at it at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday while it was parked outside his home. Police said the fire was out by the time they arrived, but two beer bottles were found on the street. Both were warm and had burn marks on them. Lee’s vehicle had burn marks on the passenger side door, and a window and side-view mirror were broken.

Criminal trespass: Clyde W. Shaver, 40, of 890 W. Finley St., West Finley, was cited for criminal trespass after he reportedly was found on Jollick Manor property at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Police said Shaver was on the no-trespass list at the site.
