Waynesburg Social Service League will hold its annual Holiday Extravaganza craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Waynesburg Central Elementary School. The show offers the Social Service League an avenue of income to help the children in the Central Greene School District. The show is free and perfect for anyone looking for a Christmas gift or just a few hours to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of good crafts and good food.Southwest Regional Medical Center Auxiliary will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Guesman Room at the hospital.The Jefferson-Morgan School District has scheduled the following committee meetings: Athletic committee will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, immediately followed by building and grounds. An education committee meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 8, immediately followed by a technology meeting. The meetings will be held in the administrative conference room in the middle-senior high school.The Jefferson United Methodist Church will hold a baked steak dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Jefferson Community Center. The menu also will include homemade applesauce and homemade desserts. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.The Jefferson-Morgan Food Bank will distribute food from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Jefferson Baptist Church.A spaghetti dinner will be held to benefit Brad Szczyrbak of Waynesburg, who was injured in a welding accident several months ago and who faces large medical expenses that have left him and his family struggling financially. The dinner will be held at noon, Sunday, Nov. 18 at the fairgrounds. To make monetary donations or to purchase tickets call Margaret Kiger at 724-627-6875.
