CARMICHAELS – Lindsey Osborne, a senior at Carmichaels Area High School, has been named Girl of the Month for November by Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club.

Osborne, daughter of Denny and Debbie Osborne, is vice president of the Senior Standing Committee, a member of the National Honor Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, SADD, yearbook club, art club and ski club.

She was the 2012 homecoming queen and plays varsity softball. She was selected to the all-section, all-district and all-state softball teams.

Osborne was awarded the Scholastic Art and Writing American Vision and Gold Key awards for photography.

Outside of school, she is a member of Carmichaels First United Methodist Church, where she is active in the youth group.

Osborne plans to attend Slippery Rock University and major in early childhood education.
