Local bank to aid county food bank

WAYNESBURG – OneMain Financial will provide area residents and customers the opportunity to support their local community during its Customer Appreciation Days Nov. 17-30.
Throughout the rest of November, the OneMain Financial branch at 170 Greene Plaza in Waynesburg will be collecting food donations to help support the mission of Corner Cupboard Food Bank.
Collection boxes will be inside the bank and nonperishable food items can be dropped off between 8:30 and 5:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
OneMain Financial’s collaboration with Corner Cupboard Food Bank reflects the philanthropic and community-oriented mindset engrained in OneMain Financial’s corporate culture. Employees leverage their professional skills and experience by volunteering their time directly to nonprofits and other community organizations.
