Republican incumbent State Rep. Rick Saccone had a 114-vote edge late Tuesday afternoon over Democrat David Levdansky in the razor-close election for the 39th District seat.

Washington County elections officials scanned 275 absentee ballots and did a hand-count of a handful of military ballots to add to the election-night totals.

Allegheny County also completed its results in the race, which includes Mon Valley portions of both counties.

In the end, in both counties, Saccone finished with 14,486 votes to Levdansky’s 14,372.

The race mirrored the results of 2010, when Saccone unseated Levdansky, a 25-year incumbent.

Both men live in Allegheny County.
