A meeting between the Cecil Township board of supervisors and representatives for Range Resources will be rescheduled.

Don Gennuso, township manager, said Wednesday that he has been working with Jim Cannon, Range’s local government relations manager, on finding a date that would allow all members of the board to attend.

Gennuso said they were hoping for a time the last week in November, but he has since learned one board member will be out of town.

Range had requested the meeting to develop a good working relationship with the board. The natural gas drilling company has been operating in Cecil.

A meeting set for last week was cancelled when Cannon objected to state Rep. Jesse White, D-Cecil, posting the meeting on his Facebook page and inviting about 250 people who do not live in the township.
