South junction traffic changes

Drivers will encounter traffic pattern changes as part of the work being done at the south junction of Interstates 70 and 79, South Strabane Township.

Weather permitting, starting at 8 p.m. Nov. 28 through 6 a.m. Nov. 29, the I-79 northbound ramp to I-70 eastbound will be closed and detoured. The detour is necessary so that beams can be set between piers.

The detour will use the Laboratory exit on I-79, east on Route 40 to Route 519 and back to I-70 eastbound.
