Warrant obtained: Clarence B. Frenden, 36, of Finleyville, is accused of grabbing Faith A. Frenden, 31, also of Finleyville, by the throat Thursday and hitting her head against a post, police said. An arrest warrant was obtained against Clarence Frenden for simple assault and harassment.

Fraud reported: Timmy G. Levers, 49, of 6 The Road, told police his debit card was used to make three fraudulent purchases in Illinois Nov. 3.

Mailbox damaged: Jason Anderson, 34, of 1501 W.Wylie Ave., told police Friday someone damaged his mailbox and fled.

Theft reported: Joshua Hippert, 32, of Canonsburg, told police his work vehicle was entered and unspecified property was stolen between Wednesday and Friday.

Crash: Motorist Justin L. Fusarelli, 29, of Avella, was not injured Thursday when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer and ran into a cement bridge abutment on Seminary Road, police said.
