Waynesburg man remains in critical condition following crash

A Waynesburg man injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday on Browns Creek Road in Morris Township remained in critical condition Monday in a Pittsburgh hospital.Andrew Berryman, 21, of Waynesburg, was flown by helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian following the 3 p.m. crash.State police said Berryman was traveling north on Browns Creek Road near Ninevah when he lost control of his 2008 Dodge Caliber on a curve.His vehicle spun across the southbound lane, struck a parked Chevrolet Avalanche and flipped, according to police. The Avalanche was pushed back about 28 feet by the force of the impact, police said.Berryman was wearing a seat belt. Morris and Richhill firefighters assisted police.
