There will be traffic pattern changes and closures at the south junction of interstates 70 and 79 in South Strabane Township as highway construction continues from 8 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday. At 8 p.m., traffic will be restricted to a single lane on Interstate 70 east and west. At 11 p.m., I-70 east will be closed and detoured using the blue detour. Also at 11 p.m., the Interstate 79 northbound ramp to Interstate 70 west will be detoured.

The blue detour is I-79 south to the Laboratory exit to Route 40 east to Route 519 north to I-70 east. The ramp detour will have traffic exit I-79 at the Laboratory exit to Route 40 east to Route 519 north to I-70 west.
