Three people were injured in an accident on Old Brick Road near Melisko Lane in West Finley Tuesday morning.

William Rhoades, 59, of West Alexander, was southbound when his truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Clayton Sprowls, 64, and Ruth Sprowls, 57, both of Dallas, W.Va.

Police do not know what caused Rhoades to travel into the oncoming lane.

Both Rhoades and Ruth Sprowls were taken by helicopter to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh and Clayton Sprowls was delivered to the hospital by an ambulance.

UPMC officials could not give the conditions of Clayton Sprowls or Rhoades, but said Ruth Sprowls was in critical condition Tuesday night.
