Work to improve the westbound Parkway East/Central (Interstate 376) in Pittsburgh will continue starting tonight, weather permitting. Westbound single-lane traffic will occur in various locations between Grant Street and the Fort Pitt Bridge/Interstate 279 ramps from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday nights through Nov. 9. Crews will be removing and replacing deteriorated barrier, performing concrete wall repairs and installing new pavement joints.
West End Neighborhood Watch Chapter I will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the West Washington United Methodist Church hall. The winner of the sixth Yard of the Month contest will be announced.
