Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:Daniel J. Bury, 59, of 789 McKean Ave., Donora; failure to register, failure to comply; charged Oct. 4, 2011, at his home; sentence – 11 1/2 to 23 months in jail followed by 2 years of probation.Matthew M. Smith, 35, of 5 Memorial Drive, Charleroi; first driving under the influence offense; charged April 23, 2011, following a vehicle accident on McChain Road in Union Township with a 0.206 percent blood-alcohol content; sentence – 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.Three people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first-time offenders. If they complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged.Brandon M. Polomoscanik, 33, of 305 Rankin Road, Belle Vernon, was admitted for 23 months for simple assault. He was charged Feb. 13 in North Charleroi.Lisa L. Besspiata, 39, of 107 Washington Ave., Apt. 7, Midway, was admitted for 12 months for a first DUI offense. She was charged Dec. 24 following a one-vehicle accident on Route 980 in Robinson Township.Mark Tengowski, 35, of 3119 Beechwood Blvd., Pittsburgh, was admitted for 12 months for a first DUI offense. He was charged Nov. 21 on Centre Alley in Coal Center.
