WAYNESBURG – Greene County maintenance manager Jerome Simkovic has announced a tentative work plan for this week.All maintenance activities are conducted weather permitting. Motorists are urged to drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the use of headlights.Crews will be conducting the following activities:n Patching and milling will be done on Routes 19 and 88.n Shoulder stabilization will be done on Routes 21, 18 and 1025.n Bridge maintenance will take plce on Route 2013 (Jensen Hollow) Jefferson Township.n Crack and shoulder sealing will be done on Route 88 (Eighty Eight Road)n Base repair on Routes 18 North and 21West in Franklin and Center townships.n Litter to be picked up on Interstate 79 in Greene County.n Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and complaints will be addressed on various state routes throughout Greene County. The department’s 24-hour toll free number for residents to call to report any road maintenance concern is 800-FIX ROAD (800-349-7623).
