Peters Township School Board agreed Monday to hire an outside search firm as the district seeks another superintendent to fill a vacancy created when current superintendent Nina Zetty resigned Oct. 15 to take a similar position in the Gateway School District. The search is expected to take months with the possibility the new superintendent will not be in place until July. The board did not decide on an amount to be spent to hire a search firm. One board member, Ronald Dunleavy, said he read one district in New York state spent $100,000.
