WAYNESBURG – A number of criminal defendants pleaded guilty Wednesday before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman and were sentenced. They included: Raymond Edward Renox, 25, of 205 Kennedy Ave., Masontown; two cases; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol and six summary violations; criminal mischief, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness; Renox was arrested Aug. 14, 2010, and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.103 percent; he was arrested April 15, after starting a fight in the Sheetz Store in Cumberland Township and causing damage to the store; sentence – 48 hours to 18 months in jail; $800 fine, 50 hours of community service; $1,742.32 in restitution to Sheetz. George Junior Mayle, 20, of 1119 Big Shannon Run Road, Mt. Morris; offenses – accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle and six summary traffic violations; on June 22, Mayle backed into another vehicle in the Belko Foods parking lot in Mt. Morris and failed to stop; sentence – one year of probation, $575 in fines, 100 hours of community service. Michael Travis Hodgson, 24, of 107 Bliss St., Nemacolin; offenses – retail theft, criminal trespass; on May 29, Hodgson attempted to steal an iPod and telephone charger from the Walmart in Franklin Township; sentence – one year of probation, $350 in fines, 75 hours of community service. Joshua Michael Tate, 27, of 245 Miller Road, Washington; offenses – acquisition by misrepresentation, unlawful acts; on Dec. 23, Tate forged another person’s name to a prescription to obtain hydrocodene tablets; sentence – three years of probation, $500 fine, 90 hours of community service. Caleb G. Miller, 23, of 313 Fourth Ave., Waynesburg; offenses – DUI and two summary traffic violations; arrested Feb. 22, Miller had a BAC of 0.153 percent; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail, $750 fine, 50 hours of community service.
