A Washington man whose case is tied to that of indicted former East Washington police chief Donald Solomon pleaded guilty today in federal court to 11 firearms charges. Timothy Johnson, 41, of Addison Street, pleaded guilty to unlwaful possession and transfer of guns and a machine gun to a convicted felon. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison on each count, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney’s office said. Johnson used one of the guns and silencers to shoot at the car of a man who was dating Solomon’s former girlfriend at Solomon’s direction. Solomon was indicted last year by a federal grand jury on extortion charges for allegedly accepting money from an FBI agent posing as a drug dealer.
