Three teens cited: Dylan Jerome McGrady, 18, of 1134 1st St., Denbo; Haverly Detrick, 18, of 301 Lincoln Ave., Bentleyville; and a 17-year-old Bentleyville girl each were cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct following an Oct. 19 incident at 202 Bentley Ave., Bentleyville, according to Southwest Regional police.
Man charged: Anthony Travis Lytle, 21, of 701 E. Grant Ave., Altoona, was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct by California Borough police after officers were called just after 2:30 a.m. Oct. 14 to clear a crowd causing a disturbance outside of a Wood Street restaurant. Police said Lytle refused multiple orders to leave the area. Charges pending: California Borough police report Jesse Freer, 21, of 207 Lincoln Ave., Nazareth, will be charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing merchandise Wednesday from the Kwik Fill gas station on 3rd Street in California.
Man jailed: A Washington man was jailed late Wednesday for allegedly causing a disturbance outside a Canonsburg karate studio. Albert “Kool Aid” Johnson, 33, of 220 Ridge Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show. Canonsburg police were dispatched to Kang’s Karate, 6 North Central Ave., for reports of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance outside. Witnesses told Canonsburg police Johnson threatened and swore at bystanders when asked to leave the area. According to police, Johnson refused to comply with orders and began throwing himself into an officer and a patrol car after he was handcuffed. Johnson was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and lodged in the Washington County jail on $1,000 bond.
Drug arrest: Jessica Jones, 30, of 601 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a July 28 search of her residence produced two illegally obtained clonazepam pills, court records show. She is in the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Charged in thefts: Diana Lynn McPartland, 35, of 409 Thompson Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with theft and receiving stolen property over accusations she stole $3,600 worth of items including tools and video gaming equipment from her father, Charles McPartland, in May and sold them to local pawn shops, court records show. She is in the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant and arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Named in thefts: City police have filed charges of theft, identity theft and deception against Shannon D. Kast, 36, of Baden, accusing him of posing as an employee of MilSpec Gasfield Services to take possession of copper wire valued at $29,671 from Tri State Supply Co., 371 W. Chestnut St., Washington, court records show. Kast allegedly sold the wire, obtained through unauthorized work orders, between Aug. 8 and Sept. 5, to an unnamed recycling center in the Pittsburgh area, police stated in the affidavit.
