Repo man fired upon: Kirt Raymond Snodgrass, 56, of Claysville, was charged with firing a shot at a man attempting to repossess his vehicle Thursday night. State police said Daniel William Henshawe, 42, of McKeesport, had gone to Snodgrass’ home at 3246 Constitution Boulevard after 11 p.m. when Snodgrass came out of his home with a handgun and told Henshawe to get off his property. Snodgrass then raised the gun and fired a shot over Henshawe’s head. Henshawe unhooked the vehicle and drove away. He contacted state police, who arrested Snodgrass at his home. He was arraigned by video at 4 a.m. Friday before District Judge Jay Ellis on charges of aggravated assault. He was released on his own recognizance.

Hit-and-run: State police are searching for the driver of a light blue pickup truck with a loud exhaust system that was involved in a crash on East Buffalo Church Road Thursday but then left the scene. Willard H. King, 82, of Washington, told police he was westbound when the truck, coming in the opposite direction, caused him to swerve off the road. The driver of the truck then left the area. Police said the truck should have damage to the driver’s side. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-223-5200.

Two charged: Two men face charges after police were called to 1046 Pike Run Drive for a nioise complaint Friday morning. Ryan Smith and Matthew Renshaw, both of Moon Township, yelled threats and threw a bottle of beer at the person complaining about the noise. When police arrived the men gave them permission to search the residence. In Renshaw’s room, drug paraphanalia and a prohibited weapon were found. He was charged with possession of the paraphernalia and the weapon and with disorderly conduct. Smith is charged with disorderly conduct.

Man assaulted: David Gatling, 20, of 412 Blaine Ave., told Canonsburg police he was assaulted by two men Thursday night who struck him with a pipe. Gatling was found on a front porch at 429 Adams Ave. Police said Gatling had a large lump on his arm and above his left eye. They located a white plastic pipe and said they plan to file charges. Gatling was taken to Canonsburg General Hospital for treatment. Apartments entered: Jerome Mathia of 193 Latimer Ave. reported Thursday two apartments he owns at 412 Giffin Ave. were entered and vandalized. Police said copper piping had been damaged near a sink, causing water to spill. Home entered: Robert Lesniakowski Jr of 238 Ross Road told police his parents’ home on Crawford Street was entered this week. It was not known if anything was stolen but a door frame had been damaged.

Credit card fraud: Nicole Henderson of 18 S. Johnson Road reported her credit card was used to make four purchases. She reported the fraud to police Thursday.
