Greene County Council on the Arts is sponsoring a bus trip Nov. 18 to a Pittsburgh Pops Concert featuring “Classic Mystery Tour – A Tribute to the Beatles and Sgt. Pepper’s 45th Anniversary.” In addition to the concert ticket and bus transportation to the show, the price includes a catered dinner served in the Overlook Room at Heinz Hall prior to the return trip to Waynesburg. The auxiliary of the Center Township Fire Department will serve food Election Day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the fire hall, Rogersville. The breakfast menu will include sausage gravy and biscuits. The lunch menu will include hot dogs, sloppy joes, ham barbecue sandwiches, homemade soup, cabbage and noodles, desserts and drinks. The dinner menu will include creamed chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, desserts and beverages. The breakfast and lunch menu will be priced individually and the dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Waynesburg University’s Lamplighter Touring Choir, featuring approximately 20 Waynesburg University students, will perform at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 in Roberts Chapel.
