Police probing reported break-ins

State police have reported multiple burglaries across Greene County that occurred between Oct. 21 and Tuesday.The first incident took place in Morgan Township. Shari Lynn Kniha, 21, of Reeseman’s Mobile Home Park, told police someone broke into her residence between Oct. 21 and Oct. 22 and stole several items.The second incident took place in Aleppo Township. Dakota Riffle of New Freeport told police someone forced entry into his residence, stealing a Winchester .243 rifle, Robers .257 rifle, Mossburg 12-gauge shotgun, Remington .270 pump action rifle, Savage 25.06 rifle, Traditions .50 caliber muzzleloader, Matthews Z7 Extreme bow, Toshiba 50-inch LED TV, Sony PlayStation 3 and a King Craft 7,000-watt generator.The third incident took place in Morris Township. James Clark, 50, of Elk City, Okla., told police someone broke into his motor home between 3:15 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, stealing a Browning .12-gauge shotgun, high-powered pellet gun, hand tools, and two cases of Budweiser beer.The fourth incident took place in Wayne Township. Tiffany Ritenour, 24, of Brave, told police someone gained access to her residence through a porch window between 6:30 and 9 p.m. Tuesday and stole a jar of money.Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call them at 724-627-6151.
