Burglary: State police reported Brian A. Groce, 26, of Madison, Ohio, was arrested Saturday for breaking into the Avella Road home of Brian P. Tohy. Police said Tohy came home at 8 p.m. and found Groce inside attempting to steal change and other valuables. Tohy subdued Groce and held him there until police arrived. Police said Groce was arraigned before Ethan Ward. Further information was not available.

Theft: Clyde Tull of Bethel Springs, Tenn., reported to state police someone stole 300 feet of copper welding cable and 150 feet of 4-wire cable from his vehicle while it was parked at the Red Roof Inn Thursday night.
