Interstate 79 work planned

Single lane closures will occur on Interstate 79 in the area north of the Bridgeville interchange in South Fayette Township and Bridgeville Allegheny on Monday, weather permitting.

State Department of Transportation crews will be inspecting the bridge that carries I-79 over Chartiers Creek. Lane closures will occur in each direction from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. Both directions will not be restricted simultaneously.
