PennDOT announces schedule for the week

WAYNESBURG – Greene County Maintenance Manager Jerome Simkovic announced the following tentative work plan for the week. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
• Bridgework on Route 188, Jefferson Road, Jefferson Borough.
• Patching will be conducted on Route 2001, Rudolph Run Road, Perry, Wayne, and Whitely townships.
• Bridge flushing and inlet repair/replacement work will be conducted on Route 19, Kirby Road, in Whitely Township.
• Shoulder cutting will be completed on Route 1006 (Ceylon Road); Route 1025 (Stringtown Road); and Route 1023 (Jacobs Ferry Road) in Cumberland Township.
• Slide repair will take place on Route 2003, Buckeye Road, in Perry Township.
• Pipe replacement and ditch cleaning will take place on Route 3001, Aleppo Road, Aleppo Township.
• Boom mowing and brush cutting will take place on Route 1001, Apple Hill Road, Washington Township.
• Crack sealing will take place on Route 21, West Roy Furman Highway.
• Litter pickup will take place on all I-79 Greene County lane miles and Route 21 from Waynesburg to Carmichaels.
• Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and complaints will be addressed on various state routes throughout Greene County.
