East Franklin Grange 1709 will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the grange hall. The meeting will address the meaning of the Obligation to each member. All members are urged to attend.

The reorganization meeting of the Greene County Tax Abatement Review Board scheduled for Friday has been canceled.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport fire hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Ambassadors for Christ and Brad Crow and the Cutups. Admission is $3, and the event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

20th Century Club will hold its annual salad luncheon at 11 a.m. April 20 at the First Assembly of God Family Life Center. Tickets are still available at a cost of $8 per person.
