WELLSBURG, W.Va. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a fire that damaged several trucks at a natural gas well site in the Northern Panhandle.

Media outlets report that the fire occurred around 5 p.m. Monday at a Chesapeake Energy well site in the Wellsburg area in Brooke County.

The trucks are owned by a subcontractor, FTS International.

FTS International spokeswoman Pam Percival says the well site was evacuated and no one was injured.

Firefighters from departments in Brooke County and Western Pennsylvania extinguished the fire.
