A Washington woman was listed in good condition in a Pittsburgh hospital after being ejected from her car during a crash about midnight Friday on Interstate 79 in North Strabane Township.

State police said Macy Hupp, 21, was driving north about 1 1/2 miles north of the Canonsburg exit when her car went off the left side of the road and partially into the median. Police said when she tried to steer back onto the road, she overcorrected the vehicle. Her car crossed both northbound lanes, hit an embankment and overturned, police said.

Hupp was ejected and partially pinned under her car.

Hupp was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where a hospital spokesman said she was in good condition. Police said she faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay in her lane.
