Carmichaels Area High School will present an art exhibition featuring work from senior high art students from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in The Greene Academy on North Market Street in Carmichaels. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Art students’ work, created throughout this school year, include ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting and mixed media, some of which are award-winning pieces from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and the Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club Art Contest.

“The students’ artwork this year is some of the best I’ve seen, so I am excited to showcase what they’ve accomplished,” said Marlynn White, high school art teacher. “In addition, we are so grateful to The Greene Academy for the use of their facility. It is the perfect venue for this event and I think visitors will be doubly impressed.”
