Work planned on Route 88 in Bethel Park

Bridge repair work will be done on Route 88 (Library Road) in Bethel Park, Allegheny County, on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform parapet work on the bridge that carries Route 88 over Piney Fork between Churchill Road and Clifton Road.
To allow the work to occur, Route 88 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. A detour will be posted.
About 8,887 vehicles use Route 88 in this area on an average day.
