A Charleroi man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly selling heroin to a confidential informant for the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force.
Robert Lamar Stubbs, 28, of 404 Lookout Ave., was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin.
Task force detectives indicated in court documents that Stubbs had been the target of an investigation in April.
The informant contacted Stubbs and made arrangements to purchase eight stamp bags of heroin, police said, and the two agreed to meet on his rear porch.
Detectives said they established surveillance, and Stubbs was seen walking out onto the porch and handing the informant the stamp bags of heroin. The informant, in turn, handed Stubbs money.
Stubbs was placed in the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.
