Independence Township will hold a spring cleanup May 3 through 13 for household items and trash. Material can be placed in containers placed at the following sites: the township maintenance building; Breezy Heights; community center/library; fire hall and Polar Star field. No building materials, tires, refrigerators, garbage, paint, petroleum products, computers or electronic devices will be accepted.
