Washington County holding tire recycling event

Washington County is collecting old tires next month.
The county’s planning commission is sponsoring the tire recycling event in the Washington County Fairgrounds parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11.
There will be various fees for tire collections depending on the size, and whether they include rims. People can pay using cash or check.
The event is open to the public, and no proof of residence is needed. Call 724-228-6811 for more information about the event.
The tires will be collected and recycled by Mahantango Enterprises in Liverpool.
