Theft reported: Michael Kaempf told Canonsburg police a Bose entertainment system, Kindle electronic reader and headphones were stolen from his property on Giffin Avenue over the past month. The items were valued at $900.
Bicycles stolen: Leslie Jean Dodd told Canonsburg police two Mongoose 20-inch bicycles were stolen from her home on South Jefferson Avenue early Thursday. One bicycle was blue and black, the other blue and silver.
Pepper-sprayed: Dave Duda told Canonsburg police he was sprayed with pepper spray after an altercation Thursday in the McDonald’s drive-through on Bobby Vinton Boulevard. After a vehicle with three young men inside cut in front of his vehicle in the drive-through lane, Duda exchanged words with them. One of the men reportedly approached Duda’s vehicle and sprayed him in the eyes and mouth with pepper spray. Police are investigating.
Man sought: State police said they are looking for Adam Robert Friday, 19, of Hickory, following a fight July 27 with his father, Robert J. Friday, at 155 Main St., Mt. Pleasant Township. According to police documents, Adam Friday struck his father several times with a baseball bat, breaking his arm. Police plan to charge the younger Friday with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Anyone with information regarding Adam Friday’s whereabouts is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
Car stolen: Washington police said a car was stolen while it was parked in front of a resident’s house at 315 Burton Ave. late Monday or early Tuesday. Police said they are searching for a 1993 silver Subaru sedan.
